🔻With the juniors we’ve focused on Newaza transition working on the Jockey 🐓 and GEO 🇬🇪 newaza katas. On our feet we’ve worked on agility and dynamic stability during forward throws building speed with lots of uchikomis.

Today was Nanka’s Spring Tournament with over 400 competitors at Westminster Highschool. Hollywood contributed with only 3 competitors this time. Sukai and Seth both fought their way to Bronze medals. Scotty was on fire, and won all matches by Ippon with powerful Uchimata and Newaza. Scotty got Gold in Senior -90 kilos. Well done and Congratulations! A big thank you to Sean who volunteered as the score tables, and to Sensei Philippe for coaching.
