Choosing the right platform for a judo club's online presence is crucial for its growth and community engagement. While Facebook is a popular and versatile social network, Judo Connect offers specific advantages tailored to the needs and aspirations of judo clubs. Here are three main reasons why Judo Connect is a better choice for a judo club compared to using Facebook as their primary social network:

I once received an award from the BJA that I refused to accept, a close friend once wanted to nominate me for a red and white belt that I never ever wanted anyway, frankly all I ever want to do was teach and help children and promote judo.
The past 6 months I have had the opportunity to coach at Wortham Primary School in Suffolk. As the years roll by it does not get any easier to coach however, I yet again experienced children and indeed the staff at the school that make it all worthwhile. To be presented on my last day with a present and a card signed by all those incredible children pounds

If anyone is interested in Refereeing for Judo a course at Croydon JC has been organised by Surrey BJA - see jnfo below 👇💪👍🏼
When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.

And it’s a healthy slice of BJA Approved fast track grading success for Fraser Francis tonight 🔥🔥
Promited from “novice” (not a novice lol) to green belt in one fell swoop. 🙌🏽💪🏼
A rare talent is our beloved Mr Francis - a fantastic embracing of judo, incredible natural talent, and a well deserved Sussex champion. It’s about time he got some colour round that waist! 🤣
Massive congrats and thoroughly well deserved 🙌🏽

On Saturday at Felixstowe the majority of our little team are competing for the very first time. Please ensure the following;
1) Ensure you take your child's BJA licence for production at the weigh in.
2) Girl players must wear a white T shirt under their judo jacket and remove anything metal from the body-even hair bands. Hair must be tied back too.
3) Please ensure judo suits are clean and that finger nails and toe nails are short and not a danger to the opponents.
4) Take bottles of water and make sure that our players have flip flops or suitable foot attire as I do not want our players wal

Hard day for the boys yesterday; Lewis fought well, but didn’t medal. Hari, again fought well and came 5th.
Dylan did amazingly and made it to the final , but was a bit unfortunate, however still won silver which is his second silver medal in as many competitions.
Well done to you all for showing up and not giving up.
