Coulby Sport Taekwondo 🤝🏼 Tees Valley Judo
Head coach Liam delivered a Judo session to Coulby Sport Taekwondo players today. They are a really high level level taekwondo club and cater from beginners all the way to GB level.
If you want to get involved they train Mondays (Langdon Square Community Hub, Coulby Newham) and Thursdays (Impact Fitness Zone, South Bank), 5:30-7:00pm.

Busy weekend for Tees Valley Judo! We had players training and competing all over Europe and the UK. Charlie was over in Byron, Poland at a training camp with the England team, whilst Kenady was over in Belgium at the Junior and Senior Belgium Open. It was a pleasure to be able to present Paul Dodds with his Judo black belt tonight 🥋✔️
Paul is a founding member of the club, along with his wife, Rachel, and children Neve and Callum. At 38, he made a return to the mat after 20+ years away, with the aim of obtaining his black belt. Two years later at the age of 40, Paul smashed a line up, beating players much heavier than him to earn his Dan grade. Not only is he a Judo player and parent, he is also a qualified coach and dedicated lots of his time to the development of players at the club.

Tees Valley Judo are very excited to announce that we are collaborating with England Judo to deliver ‘England Training Opportunities’ - their new approach to increasing training load amongst English Judo Players 🏴🥋
We will essentially be providing additional training sessions for aspiring and current England Development Squad members. The weekly sessions we are hosting will run in conjunction with our current club sessions and are as follows ⬇️
Friday’s: 6:30-8:00pm Minor/Pre-Cadet/Younger Cadet age bands.
Friday’s: 7:30-9:00pm Cadet/Junior/Senior age bands.
Sunday’s: 12:00-1:30pm
