Sheena, Lauren, Mark, Jack and Rowan made their ways up to Samurai Judo Club..
Jack was in a pool of three and put up some incredible fights winning 1 and loosing one earning himself a silver medal 🥈he then went again, fighting the same two players for some experience and beat the same lad again, well done Jack!
Rowan was in a tough pool fighting super hard and taking one contest the full three minutes, he didn't give up! in the end securing himself a very well deserved bronze medal🥉Well done Rowan!!

Pudsey Judo Club Juniors travelled to SKK Judo Club today.
For some it was their first ever competition for others a first this year.
Super proud as 8 judoka went and 8 came back with a medal - but more importantly valuable lessons learnt.

Many of you won’t know that Sensei Llewellin has begun a journey to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and entered a competition today. Despite being a beginner and having not competed in judo for about 40 years, he had to fight in a more experienced division, so a huge challenge. He also fought in a group aged nearly 20 years younger than him! He had a some tough fights and learned lots but had a great time… here’s a short clip that shows his judo is still sharp 😉🥋bonus points if you name the throw

I have pinched a few photos of our guys as I didn't get much of a chance to take many myself. Sorry if I have missed anyone.
🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇Lewis R, Amber x 2, Daisy, Josh, Jake and Fin who also gained 50 points taking him to the magic 100 points to qualify for his Dan grade! I think this makes Fin the quickest member of our club to gain his black belt and also the youngest, at 14. He can't officially wear his new grade until he is 15 and been a 1st Kyu for 6 months, which
