Great evening of randori yesterday with this lovely bunch. Bringing back an old tradition at Bexhill-on-Sea of a randori sesh a couple of days after Christmas. Lovely to see Noah and Alex back on the mat after a while, as well as players from a variety of clubs including Westerleigh Judokwai, Kin Ryu Judo Club, The Official Camberley Judo Club, Tonbridge JudoClub, Croydon Judo Club, Hollington Judo Club, 1066 Grappling Guild, and the two Martins of Tony Ferreira BJJ.

Behold! The GREAT AND POWERFUL Ryan Ashton in his brand spanking new black belt! Two big old ippons up at High Wycombe today polished off his points for his 1st dan nicely. ๐๐ฝ
He fought hard in his first fight, and defeated a very strong player and decided to wait until there was 13 seconds left on the clock before dispatching his opponent with a skilful Uchimata for ippon, building on the waza-ari score he had on the board from earlier in the contest.
In his second and final fight of the day, he unleashed his trademark Harai Goshi for a huge and clean ippon. ๐ฅ
