Maths isn't just a subject we learn in school, it's a vital part of our daily lives; from cooking and measuring ingredients, to calculating discounts and budgeting, it is everywhere. That is why our Manor House children are timetabled to 3.5 hours per week.

In FV, children focus on topics such as Number and Place Value, Multiplication and Division, Properties of Shape, and Data Handling. It is also highly beneficial for them to have weekly times tables, and mental maths tests. Our FVI children are introduced to BIDMAS, and continue to

Tonight we had the pleasure of presenting Charlotte Kendall with her Judo black belt (1st Dan).
Charlotte joined the club on 21st March 2018, and she has an impressive competition record winning Gold in over 60% of her competitions, which include multiple BJC National Champions, BJA National Medallist and National Teams Medallist.
Charlotte quickly became a regular squad member and joined us on National and International tournaments.

Here is how to buy membership,

Firstly, you need a BJA membership to compete and have insurance for judo. It is £28 for a year for students. You must get this!

The second thing to buy is the actual UEA judo membership, this is £26 for the year, however if you have not already you also need to buy UEA sport membership which is £55 for the year and compulsory for all sports clubs.

Once you go these to things, you will have access to the Monday beginner session and the Thursday advanced session, as well as sports night and other social activities we do and be able to compete multiple times

Ultimate Judo would like to congratulate Ole Bischof for his recent promotion to 6th Dan. Ole is, without a doubt, a legend of our sport with Olympic gold and silver and multiple tour medals including European titles. Many of our members will remember fondly his seminars in Scotland in 2018 and 2019. congrats Champ.

A good day at Kidderminster for Swindon’s best father and son duo, both coming home with matching bronzes at their first comp!
Neil started the day off with a lovely hold down then proceeded to throw a lovely ippon.
Ollie held his own with a group of much older men and managed to escape multiple armlocks and hold downs.
A big well done to both of them!

Covid restrictions have now ended at the club and from Thursday 22nd July all sessions will return to normal 🙌

🥋There are no restrictions to the number of players on the mat.
🥋Both Seniors and Juniors can now attend.
🥋Session times will return to pre-covid timings.
🥋You may attend multiple sessions per day.
🥋Spectators are welcome, but please respect people's decisions to socially distance and wear face masks if they wish.
