Neeson and daneil were in action today not the results they wanted at British schools championships.
Daneil first major big competition tough matches there are no easy ones at this level and got injured too in first match. But showed good determination to get on the mat for next bout.
Neeson had a unfortune start to competition. 50/50 decision went against him. Cracking ashiwaza footsweep to take second match
Injured in 3rd compressing collar bone not broken thankfully.but sore.
And Coach Keith got selfie with Yoko Tanabe absolute Japanese Legend.

Hi Pete, really enjoying the training out here in Georgia. Feel strong and dealing with the big arm over a lot lot better now, had 4x4 min newaza this morning and 6x4 min tashiwaza at the club which was real good with a tough warmup - 50 mins, then just finished the session at the grand slam training camp - also 4x4 min newaza and 6x5min standing. Feeling fit and fought some good strong players but managing to hold my own nicely, got caught a few times by a couple guys that are 73’s but I’m feeling just as strong as anyone 66’s , overall 2 good sessions today but bo

Well done to Rhys Handel of AJ Judo Llanfyllin and Ford on representing Wales and Great Britain at his first Cadet European Cup Competition in Fuengirola Spain. Where he won his first fight with a great little ashiwaza. In has second fight he came up against a well seasoned Cadet player who caught him in the last 2 minutes. Rhys Handel showed great potential and is well on his way to his next International. 🥋💪🥋💪🥋

Great to train under the tuition of Judo master Kashiwazaki at Hull Judo Club last month. Thank you for inviting us 🙇‍♂️

Tomorrows sessions are still on although some of us will be attending the Japanese judo masterclass by Katsuhiko Kashiwazaki at Hull Judo Club in Woodford leisure centre at 10am for the junior session or 11:30 for the Senior. Nothing stopping the juniors watching the senior session also.

Kashiwazaki was a Gold Medallist at the 1981 World Championships.

All ages and levels are welcome, there is also a specialist ground technique masterclass on the Sunday. You can book on to any of the master classes using the below link.
