Choosing the right platform for a judo club's online presence is crucial for its growth and community engagement. While Facebook is a popular and versatile social network, Judo Connect offers specific advantages tailored to the needs and aspirations of judo clubs. Here are three main reasons why Judo Connect is a better choice for a judo club compared to using Facebook as their primary social network:

It was a BIG step up for most of them and some good results.

In total we had 9 players competing at senior junior and minors.

Chapel, Kaitlyn, Tom, Jacob and Camiila taking medals in the kids groups and Kyle (not pictured) in the juniors

Special mention to Diilon who fought well despite a huge step up in age weight and grade.

Amir took silver in the Seniors

Thank you to Kendal judo club for hosting a good comp.

I’ve been away coaching for Judoscotland this weekend in Malta at the commonwealth tournament . We arrived Friday with the players . Saturday was the fight day for all of our players. Some parents had come over to support their children and the support that all the children had was brilliant . 7 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals . Today is a tourist day. Well done to all of the clubs that the players represent and I have enjoyed myself coaching the young athletes with Reece Calder .

FLASH BACK FRIDAY ! Check out Ely Dojo legends Daisy and Yonas ! 🙂

The bottom picture was at the Midlands event in Walsall in January 2020 just before the first lockdown - both put everything into their contest judo that day but missed out on the podium finish they both wanted.🥋

The top picture is the same event four years later in 2024 - and they both made the podium and medals in their groups ! 🥋

It was a FANTASTIC day of judo at the last Dojo Takeover when we moved in to the Willow Studio @ Fresh and ran a mini judo festival for some of our junior membership ! 🥳

It is always great fun to use the extra space and get different classes together at the Dojo Takeovers - and last Sunday as part of the festival we ran some judo contests amongst the members under the watchful eye of senior coach Ray Taylor Sensei🥋

Our members competed as small teams - including Team Shrek, Team Champions and The Jedi Knights - and each team were awarded either Gold, Silver or Bronze medals for their efforts

The Scottish All Stars Championships were held at Ravenscraig today. We had several players competing, some at their first competition! This event is a development event maximising the time each player has on the mat. This resulted in all players showing off their great judo skills in tachiwaza and newaza by scoring ippon! The coaches are very proud of everyone's effort today. Although the focus is on players skill development there were well earned medals to take home. Well done all!
