Peter is one of the current Scottish Champions training at the Club (as well as Claire). He has had some time out injured but was back in training last night.

It was a pleasure to welcome Clyde Garlick all the way from Missouri to the Club today. Clyde trained at Bella in the early 80’s and gained his Dan grade with us. He’s promised to come back and visit in the future.

Catriona Maciver has been a member of Bella since 1990 and has been an integral part of the club ever since. Catriona emigrated to Australia and is still a regular visitor to club.
She still keeps an eye on what’s going on, helps with administration and is our go to person for graphics, art and design.
She designed our commemorative medals and I’m glad to say her’s has arrived in Oz.

It was great to have CIaire Rimicans in training on Saturday. Claire has been a great supporter to Bella and helped maintain the strong links with Strathclyde Uni Club as well.

John Watt has been a member of Bella for many years whilst also running his own Glasgow Judo Club and coaching Strathclyde Uni Judo Club also. During that time he has also taken his coaching pathway to University and held the position of Senior Examiner.
John popped in last night for a session and we were able to present him with his Commemorative Medal.
