Scottish school summer holidays are coming to an end and Projudo fighters have been busy making the most of the last days of the break.

Parklands youngsters had a great week of judo, games and fun at our annual summer camp.

Our young squad have just come back from a fantastic week in Devon. Sun sea surf and hard judo training to help them grow in confidence and skill.

Some of these youngsters will make a quick turnaround be joined by team mates from the club and judo Scotland at the summer camp in Kendal .

Meanwhile our cadets are heading off to Valencia for a weeks training in the sun

It was a busy start to the week with over 25 on the mat on Monday! Great to see our youngsters progressing onto our senior practices.

Senior practices take place Mondays and Thursdays 7.45pm-9.15pm.

Judo is not only good for youngsters to learn but also for people at the other end of the age spectrum. 🥋

Busy night at our Fighting Fit session last night - An excellent turn out for a holiday week, with 22 on the mat all working hard & getting extremely sweaty!

Ukemi & Ashi-waza practice to start, then fitness circuits, 8x 3-min transitional Randori bouts & we even had time for a game before the youngsters went off. To finish off, the adults carried on for a bit more Randori & technical practice.

Our next session is on April 22nd 6:45pm-7:45pm/8:15pm open for all ages & visitors welcome (minimum grade requirements & u8s by invitation only)

A big well done to all the youngsters who courageously stepped out onto the mat, and thank you to Coach Craig for supporting everyone at the event. We’re looking forward to gaining more experience, having fun and making memories at the Bonsai Kyoso Open in April 💪

As our junior judo youngsters are absolutely flying we have made the decision for any new members to participate in a few separate classes which will be held on a wednesday evening 6pm before progressing into the main group.
If any of our amazing juniors would like to come along and assist you're more than welcome.
