Congratulations to masha0509 and jack.cookjc_ for mixing it up at the 18th International Training Camp at Partizan Judo Club Kikinda, Serbia. As usual, the camp drew 400 of the top Seniors and Juniors, and Cadets, including World and European medallists, from Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia, Belgium, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine. The standard was high, as the Serbian professional clubs, with local and Japanese coaches, make up 4 of Europe’s top 16. Coaches from sports body British Judo will touch on 18 different judo techniques that have been adapted for elderly Britons at risk of harm.

What a busy week at the club:
2 Saturdays, 2 1st Dan presentations! Congratulations to Connie & Arran who both received confirmation from British Judo that they have achieved the amazing milestone of the black belt. Both have been learning judo for over 10 years and this achievement is a credit to their commitment.
Connie also completed her practical session as part of the Level 1 Coach qualification, and then rounded the week of by receiving news that she had been selected to represent Scotland at the National Team Championships in July!
