Brilliant effort from all of our seniors on Friday, covering Sangaku Jime and a driving O Uchi Gari (with the aid of the crash mats so we could really finish those throws off 😆)

Now the dust has settled, we wanted to celebrate the amazing results of Caz and Ed at the Commonwealth Judo Championships - Veterans and Ne Waza last week. Caz with her Gold in the Veterans and then winning the first ever Gold in the first Commonwealth Ne Waza Championship, a little piece of history in the making 😁 Here are some highlights of the event in Malta 🥋

We want to say a huge congratulations to Caz, Eddie and Ethan, who have just returned from Malta, where they took part in the Commonwealth Judo Championships 😁🥋
They all fought superbly, with Ethan taking a Bronze in the Cadets, Eddie a Silver in the Veterans and Caz came back with an amazing double Gold medal haul 😁

Two more of our fantastic juniors demonstrated great commitment and concentration this evening to earn our Class Awards, well done to both of them ⭐️ 🥋 😃
It was also great to see our seniors working so hard 😁 and to all those who were missing, we know who you are 😆 and next week we might need to see a note from your responsible adult explaining your absences 😆 🤣 😉

🤔 Our adults have been working hard on their contra-body movement exercises, which will help with their Ne-Waza, but we think they still have a long way to go before they can do it as well as the guy at the end of the video 😆 come on everyone, you need to be working a lot harder 😆🤣🤣
