Last night’s session trained morote seoinage and linking it with kouchi gari and osoto gari. No videos of this training but here’s a clip of our lad Alfie throwing with a nice kouchi at the weekend’s NHC comp.

At the NHC Development event in Brentwood Toby took silver and brother William bronze. Some very tough contests but both boys proved they are ready for this level.
Eden and I have much to work on but we clearly have excellent potential to work with.
Our junior session is rammed at the moment and our "Invitation Only" adult session is perfectly balanced. The numbers are not huge but all the adults have equal matches. I see no reason to change what works very well right now.
Next month the club will celebrate 30 years of serving the local community, I for one have no idea where the time has gone

Huge congratulations to Val Buzila and Eniola Ope on their medal winning performances on Saturday at the NHC Kyu grade open championships in High Wycombe, with Val winning all his contests by Ippon to win a Gold medal in the u73kg category plus obtaining 30 points towards his Dan grade, and Eniola winning 2 contests by Ippon in the u90kg category to win a Silver medal in his first ever competition, well done to you both from all at JSC Judo Club
