Choosing the right platform for a judo club's online presence is crucial for its growth and community engagement. While Facebook is a popular and versatile social network, Judo Connect offers specific advantages tailored to the needs and aspirations of judo clubs. Here are three main reasons why Judo Connect is a better choice for a judo club compared to using Facebook as their primary social network:

Phantom of the Exhaust Organ: A Duel Worth Taking in Silksong

https://dealnesthq.com

Every so often a boss fight stops feeling like a wall and starts feeling like a conversation. In Hollow Knight: Silksong , that conversation happens high inside the Exhaust Organ, where an old master of the needle waits in silence for a challenger worth their time. Phantom is optional — a detour on the long road toward the Citadel — yet the duel they offer has become one of the most beloved encounters in all of Pharloom, a fast and elegant dance that recalls Grimm and the Mantis Lords far more than the grind

Little Nightmares 3: A Terrifying Co-op Dance Through The Carnevale

https://dealnesthq.com

I still remember the moment I sat down at PAX West in Seattle, teaming up with another journalist to enter The Carnevale, the nightmarish fun fair at the heart of Little Nightmares 3. We had roughly an hour, two characters—Low and Alone—and a heady mixture of curiosity and dread. Now, in 2026, after the game's October 9 release and countless co-op sessions since, that preview remains one of my favorite horror memories. Little Nightmares 3 is not simply another sequel; it is a two-player organism, and i

Marvel Rivals Roster – Unlimited Heroes & Villains

https://www.lootbar.com

Marvel Rivals’ executive producer Danny Koo has confirmed that the game’s roster has no theoretical limits—every Marvel hero or villain is fair game, provided they bring something meaningful to the table. A Universe of Possibilities Since its launch, Marvel Rivals has carved out a space in the hero-shooter genre, often drawing comparisons to Overwatch. While it borrows heavily from Blizzard’s formula, it adds its own twists and leverages a star-studded Marvel cast—featuring Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Scarlet Witch, and ma

Today the club is 3 years old.

No big song and dance this year, the next major milestone will be 5 years!

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has been part of this club. Past and present. To everyone that has helped in anyway in the development of the club. Coaches, students and the many favours I have called in to make the club what you see today.

The growth of the club has been nothing short of amazing, there is no other club in the UK that has grown at the rate we have in such a short space of time.

I always believe the way to happiness is to show gratitude in what

An honour to present Davie Reilly with his 5th Dan last night.

Davie has been working with our pre cadet and cadet programme for the last 20 years.

Davie is head coach of Danderhall Judo Club and was coach to your very own Colin & Callum Woods.

I’m sure any player who has been coached by Davie will agree that his contribution to their own judo, and the sport of Judo as a whole, is immeasurable.

SPORTING CHAMPIONS 🥋🥋🥋

Here is a little bit of information about our 2 sporting champions at Ryedale ☺️

Lily-Mae has been on the scheme for 3 years. She has attended Ryedale Judo Club since the age of 7. Currently, she is a 1st Kyu competing for her first Dan, as well as competing regionally, nationally and internationally. In her last competition season of Judo she achieved a ranking of 19th in Great Britain. She also has a level 1 coaching qualification in Judo and is a junior liaison officer for her club. Lily-Mae hopes to make a name for herself and be able to represent Great Britain

Fantastic day at the Shizentai Rumble today! A brilliant well organised event with a great atmosphere, and with excellent judo on display at all ages.

With a few dropouts due to illness, in the end we had a squad of 42 take part. We had all age groups represented, from 6 year old Dragons, right up to a couple of 35+ Tortoises 👍

Everyone put in a lot of hard work & determination with some great techniques on display.

Certificate of Participation🏅
Jaiden, Harvey, Sam

🥉 Bronze 🥉
Lizzie, Ruari, Caelan, Aayub, Marni, Oliver, Devan, Aneurin, Zac, Finn, Daniel J, Younes, Aissa, Oswald, Zoe, Lind

Huge thanks to Paul Ajala for coming along and delivering a brilliant session for our teen & adult members last night! 👍

White belts to Dan grades, everyone gave 100% effort and came away smiling, and somewhat sweaty, which is definitely the mark of a great judo lesson!

Well done to all that took part.

Last weekend many of us were enjoying the Shudan Wellingborough Judo Club annual camping trip.

New site this year to allow for all the extra people who wanted to come, with a fair number experiencing camping for the first time.

Water parks, smores, climbing walls, meteor showers, and lots of fresh air and good weather!

Another great trip for our fantastic #Shudanfamily - those who couldn't make it, you were missed!

Thanks to Far Peak Campsite for accommodating us!

A very energetic session tonight at the club. 5 Dan grades on the mat including Clément, from our French sister club, Mayenne Judo Club. Tonight's two hour session was learning a few "Old School" techniques along with plenty of newaza and tachi-waza. It was also nice to see Jemima back on the mat after a few years away.

Another great event is being held in the Western Area.

Saturday 12th October 2024.
