Another great day for the club at the DNA North Lancashire Open hosted by Craven Judo Academy.

I have pinched a few photos of our guys as I didn't get much of a chance to take many myself. Sorry if I have missed anyone.

We will be running a junior training camp, see below, on the 25th/26th May. Anyone wanting to send their kids along, please message me so I can add them to the register. This is open to all our judo friends out there. ๐๐ฅ๐ช

Day 2 at the Northern Ireland Open.
Another busy day and another medal haul with some of our fighters fighting above their usual weight group and most fighting above their usual age group.
๐ฅFin had an amazing day, fighting as a 1st year cadet in the junior age group. Great judo all day and then pipping his club mate, Jack, in the final on penalties. Also picking up another 30 points towards his 1st Dan. Shame he lost his points card...๐๐๐คฃ๐

Another great day and some amazing judo from our fighters today at the NW Closed Championships. Everyone medalled and some of the bronze and silvers were due to more than one of our fighters in the same groups.

Some great judo with things starting to come together. A few mistakes and falling back into old ways but on the whole a pretty good day.

Our girls were awesome with Maisie and Lily taking gold ๐ฅ๐ฅand Amber silver ๐ฅ
David narrowly missed out on a bronze medal in the seniors.
Well done to all our fighters this weekend, even if you didn't take home any hardware you always earn my respect for putting yourselves out there and trying your best. Take home a lesson or two and come back stronger and better next time. ๐๐๐ฅ๐ช
