SPORTING CHAMPIONS 🥋🥋🥋
Here is a little bit of information about our 2 sporting champions at Ryedale ☺️
Lily-Mae has been on the scheme for 3 years. She has attended Ryedale Judo Club since the age of 7. Currently, she is a 1st Kyu competing for her first Dan, as well as competing regionally, nationally and internationally. In her last competition season of Judo she achieved a ranking of 19th in Great Britain. She also has a level 1 coaching qualification in Judo and is a junior liaison officer for her club. Lily-Mae hopes to make a name for herself and be able to represent Great Britain

weigh in done for the lads and all made weight and will fight Saturday in the seniors: Jacob +90s, Ben -90s, Tyler -90s. Lily-Mae weigh in is tomorrow since she will be fighting on Sunday in the u21s in the -70s. 🥋🇬🇧🇩🇪

Good afternoon all, if you are attending our sessions this evening please ensure that you have plenty of water with you, you may also wear shorts and your GI jackets instead of your trousers. However these must be appropriate sports shorts like you would wear at school. Seniors that are attending same rules apply if you wish to wear shorts instead of your Gi trousers you are more than welcome to do so- many thanks Brandon.

So on the Tatami this week we’ve had Sho,Mon,Kyu and 1st 2nd and 6th Dan grades all working alongside each other with respect and enthusiasm! Amazing to see you all enjoying your Judo!! Many thanks also to Jacob Head for being at club for the last few weeks always great to see members returning to their roots as such!! And our coaching team outstanding!! Let’s keep up the hard work with the upcoming gradings!! 🙏👋🥋⛩️💪!!

Good afternoon, for those of you who showed interest at the idea of additional training at Scarborough judo club which is assisted by Brandon. Scarborough is cancelled this evening due to weather conditions and potential of low numbers. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
