What a great night of Judo tonight.

We had a very special guest in 2 x Paralympain Dan Powell who taught us some of his great Judo techniques.

We also got to have a scrap with him.

He is so strong and good it was an absolute pleasure having him tonight. Thank you so much Dan for visiting us We all enjoyed it.

Everyone had a moment where they shined which we were very proud to see!

In the kids class we saw Flynn pass his red belt grading with flying colours! Flynn is as tough as they come and never backs down from a challenge! Well done Flynn! 🙌

In the adults class we blended technical and games in a relaxed session, before turning the intensity up for some standing to ground transition work followed by randori!

A great evening at 'Chelle's Kitchen' with our 'Kids Quiz, Games and Karaoke' evening. Lots of fun, and American Diner style, food. We raised a fair amount for our fundraising pot, to help our fighters go places.

Little foot sweep circle for the big kids class today. So many smiles all around.

Big shout out to John Colney who had at any given time 4 kids trying to sweep him and he stood strong. The ashiwaza is strong with this one!

There's been a lot happening at the club over the past few days.

First our new mats arrived, paid for in part by our members fund raising, and they're now neatly stacked waiting for our big spring clean next bank holiday so they can laid out in a refreshed hall.

Then yesterday while the kids were hard at work, more parents volunteered their time during the junior class to help tidy up the hall, with the upstairs room being vaccumed, swept and mopped, and the weeds pulled up from the front of the building.
