While Facebook is a popular and versatile social network, Judo Connect offers specific advantages tailored to the needs and aspirations of judo clubs. Here are three main reasons why Judo Connect is a better choice for a judo club compared to using Facebook as their primary social network:

We are proud to be part of a new initiative from FabLittleBag and JudoScotland that provides free and easy-to-access period products for the judo community!
Periods can sometimes affect someone's ability to partake in sport (especially an unexpected one!), so by having accessible products within the club, we hope to give our members some extra confidence to train and break the stigma around periods πͺ

Whilst we never push our young Randori Judo Judoka to compete and rather concentrate on skill acquisition we do recognise that some want to test themselves in competition at a young age.
Thatβs why we have our competition pathway incorporating our weekly development squad session and monthly competition squad session. Please speak to your coaches if you are interested.
Today we have 12 young Judoka stepping on the Tatami at the JudoScotland All Stars Championship and we wish them the best of luck and hope they have a great experience and learn something about competition and themselves.

A very big thank you to everyone who assisted this weekend with the Granite City Grand Prix. To Ultimate Judo and Aberdeen Judo Club for the loan of the additional mats. To all of the volunteers, competitors, spectators, coaches and JudoScotland who attended the event, also our club members and those from Ultimate and Aberdeen who turned out to help with the mat moving and laying. But a particularly huge thank you to our family members who helped all weekend with driving the vans, shifting mats, laying mats and volunteering in different guises we really couldnβt have done it without you all!
