Choosing the right platform for a judo club's online presence is crucial for its growth and community engagement. While Facebook is a popular and versatile social network, Judo Connect offers specific advantages tailored to the needs and aspirations of judo clubs. Here are three main reasons why Judo Connect is a better choice for a judo club compared to using Facebook as their primary social network:

Scottish school summer holidays are coming to an end and Projudo fighters have been busy making the most of the last days of the break.

Parklands youngsters had a great week of judo, games and fun at our annual summer camp.

Our young squad have just come back from a fantastic week in Devon. Sun sea surf and hard judo training to help them grow in confidence and skill.

Some of these youngsters will make a quick turnaround be joined by team mates from the club and judo Scotland at the summer camp in Kendal .

Meanwhile our cadets are heading off to Valencia for a weeks training in the sun

The annual National team championship is a super event and one of the rare occasions when judoka has a chance to represent Scotland.

The day was a huge success with noisy support there to give plenty of encouragement.

ProJudo were strongly represented - fielding seven players across all categories. A big well done to Eden, Hattie, Arad, Kayla, Cassidy, Elise and Lewis. You made your club and your parents very proud.

The forty-strong squad from Team Scotland brought home a gold and four bronzes on a day when former Olympians participated in the competition making it a really tough day.

🎉 A Massive Well Done to our ProJudo Pre-Cadets selected to represent Scotland at the upcoming National Teams event in Walsall! 🎉

🏅 Elise, Cassidy, and Kayla will be competing for the girls, and Lewis for the boys. We know they will do themselves, their families, and the club proud at one of the highlight events of the year. 💪

Stay tuned for more news on cadet and senior selections in the coming days! 🥋

Judo is happening again in Easterhouse.

In the '70s and '80s, Easterhouse Centar had a fierce reputation as one of the best judo clubs in Scotland.

ProJudo is working with the new sports community hub to rekindle the judo spirit and start growing a new breed of champions in the area.

Come along to one of our classes and say hello. Or even better book a 4 week free trial and get started on a journey towards Olympic stardom.

Today I helped Shettleston Judo deliver a Nage -No- Kata course at ProJudo's Glasgow city centre dojo. As always coaches Alex, Paul and Chris put on a first class event. In addition to expanding our knowledge of Kata we helped raise funds to support Chris in quest for a second world title..

Entry is now closed for our event on the 3rd of March. We are currently checking all entries and will be publishing weigh in times soon. Anyone on our waiting list should keep an eye on their email inbox.

Our friends at ProJudo are running one of their beginner events. I would urge everyone to enter, this is an ideal opportunity to try the competition side of Judo in a friendly environment. Anyone unsure about entering please talk to.
