Choosing the right platform for a judo club's online presence is crucial for its growth and community engagement. While Facebook is a popular and versatile social network, Judo Connect offers specific advantages tailored to the needs and aspirations of judo clubs. Here are three main reasons why Judo Connect is a better choice for a judo club compared to using Facebook as their primary social network:

Thankyou to everyone that came along and supported us at the Worcester Show yesterday. It was an absolute scorcher, and we met and chatted to lots of local people, demonstrated some of our techniques and shared new skills with many.

If you're thinking about giving judo a go and would like to book your free trial lesson, head over to the website:

NOPT hosted a range of workshops throughout the day, as well as hearing from Dr Pamela Trevithick, representatives from the British Association of Social Workers, Community Care Inform, and our keynote speakers, Hannah and Emma who presented a session on reflective practice models.

NOPT hosted over 65 delegates throughout the day which was a huge success. Thankyou to everyone who attended and for coming together to talk about practice learning. For furth

The true meaning of Judo.
Ammi and Tatum Keen first competed against each other at the young age of 10 in Britain .
Ammi eventually went to Tokyo to live. 12 years later Tatum stepped on to the Tatami to train with Ammi in her club in Tokyo today.
Which Tatum thoroughly enjoyed.

Thankyou to Ammi for her help on this trip.

Very proud that DJC Centres came together today for the first Female Empowerment session of 2023, players from Redruth, Par, Plymouth, FLO (Plympton) and of course Barnstaple were in attendance!

Buiding the female community is a large priority for the coaches and leadership team at Drake Judo (it always has been) but having a place where females can train, learn, socialise, discuss Female specific issues and most of all have fun is so very very important

A massive thankyou to Fran for hosting, organising and leading this one.

Im very hopeful our next one wil be held in Tavistock

Sunday the 16th of July saw Drake Judo hold our 2nd Club closed competition of the year,

These competitions were created to be able to gently introduce some of our younger players to competition and to help train other volunteers in timekeeping, table officiating and refereeing,

We had over 60 Drake Judo members from Plymouth, Tavistock, Sherford and Par with Bristol conducting their own version last week with 25 Drake Judo members there...

A big thankyou to all the volunteers from all clubs who help to make it happen especially from our Par club and a big thankyou to Tournament Director C

His passion for Judo shone through and everyone at Dartford Judo Club would like to thank him for all his years of support and dedication. Thankyou to everyone who attended and those that couldn't make it your messages were gratefully received.
