📣 STANDARD ENTRY EXTENDED 📣
We’ve acknowledged that this weekend is a busy weekend for events across the country and in a final push to get just a few more entries in to make those catch weight pools even better for everyone we have extended the period for our standard entry fee until Thursday 25th April 2024

We are delighted to confirm that after extremely positive talks with britishjudo we have been given the go ahead to pilot a new method for awarding promotion points at our upcoming event on the 27th April 2024.
We have teamed up with senior examiner & north west area secretary Dave Duffy to pilot the recruitment of a senior examiner to award promotion points at a BJA Registered Level 3 Event.

🏴 SCOTTISH OPEN - DAY 2 🏴
Another productive day at the Scottish Open in Largs today.
evvo963 starting to bridge the gap at this level, demonstrating her improvement with some great gripping exchanges and unlucky not to win her first contest.
After an incredibly taxing first round fight danielyoung_2005 showed true grit to get come through his second round contest and secure the bronze medal. 🥉 Our 4th medal of the weekend.
It was great to have kendaljudo’s Abdul Ben-Hamida & Birte Naeve staying with us for the comp.
Abdul confidently came through his 1st round fight wit

🥋😁 KANO KIDZ FOR 4-7 YEAR OLDS 😁🥋
Kano Kidz is for children aged 4-7 years old and involves learning gymnastics, developing their confidence & break falling skills to keep your child safe. We also deliver loads of fun games that keep your child active burning off energy but also developing their listening & fundamental motor skills and strength.
We also do judo groundwork sparing allowing children to wrestle with one another in a safe environment helping children to learn to control their aggression whilst promoting fair play & empathy through looking after one another.
And new for 2024 a

Our British Champ; Tara Nel Allan has been out in Follonica, Italy 🇮🇹 & Fuengirola, Spain 🇪🇸 representing GB at two back to back European Cup tournaments and International Training Camps.
Despite this being a huge step up for Tara at this level, she has done herself, the club & her country proud. No results this time round but winning a contest & putting in good performances against quality opponents have lead to some really valuable lessons learnt.
Well Done Tara!
