The Craig Fallon Cup 2024 - What an amazing day!
Watching from the side as the heroes vs legends event was on was truly captivating. All eyes were gazed on the mat as these young judokas had an opportunity of a lifetime to fight a Olympian.
Proud to see Laksh and Ryan get their first experience of table officiating.
Thank you to everyone that supported this event and created such a great atmosphere.
It’s not weak to speak, just reach out someone wants to listen.
Craig’s legacy will continue.

Then Sunday our lyg team of eleven players are going to train at Thomas Tallis greenwich legacy dojo for the royal greenwich Borough judo team

You do not have to travel to Japan to enjoy Hanami.
(花見, "flower viewing")
A Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers; flowers (花, hana) in this case almost always refer to those of the cherry (桜, sakura).
From the end of March to early May, cherry trees bloom all over Japan as the blossoms only last a week or two.
In 2013 we were fortunate enough to be asked to arrange the UK Butoku Sai in Commemoration of 111th anniversary of Anglo-Japan Alliance. As a lasting legacy the 'Kuwahara Promenade' was planted and every year while in blossom we visit for Hanami.

This event, which we co-founded with Active Surrey has been the recipient of the Commonwealth games Legacy Funding award for its impact on driving participation in sports with children from lower socio-economic backgrounds and those children who struggle in the school environment.

Dafydd has been planning this event with Neil to honour Mr Petherbridges’ contribution after Alan sadly passed away.
The session is being publicised by many Judoka across Britain & beyond, many well respected judoka from past & present will be in attendance. 🏴 🇬🇧

Many of our members have such fond memories of John. He always gave time to share his wealth of knowledge at events and gradings in a genuine and honest manner.
Rest in peace John, your legacy lives on.

We are so proud and inspired to be apart of the Pete Salsbury/Jo Dan legacy. You have and will always be apart of our live and your legacy will live on in our hearts. It has always amazed me how far your legacy has stretched even to this day I meet new people that are apart of the Pete Salsbury/JoDan family. You have insired and touched the hearts of not just myself, Marie-jose, Rene and Kelian. But generations of people young and old. I always remember going to other clubs or competitions and people approaching me asking how you are pete, giving me a little history of there experience of know
