Thanks to everyone who attended this past weekend, to the Judoka, Instructors and Examiners, from Child Protection & Safeguarding to First Aid and the first Gonosen No Kata course in Wales (as far as we know)!!!!! Certainly a new experience for the Samurai. 49 Judoka from all over South Wales attending - truly a great day. Looking forward to the next one.

The Samurai Judo Club, Swansea is back !
We had our first (full capacity) junior class this evening following the relaxation of recent covid19 rules in Wales. Well done to everyone involved. We are now in a position to expand the numbers in our class next week if you would like your child to join in the fun please DM.
Over 18 years, senior contact judo is still currently prohibited in Wales. I am closely monitoring the position with the assistance of Welsh Judo Association. I am hopeful the position will change in June which will lead to our traditionally strong senior club reopening as soon

Dafydd has been planning this event with Neil to honour Mr Petherbridges’ contribution after Alan sadly passed away.
The session is being publicised by many Judoka across Britain & beyond, many well respected judoka from past & present will be in attendance. 🏴 🇬🇧
