I once received an award from the BJA that I refused to accept, a close friend once wanted to nominate me for a red and white belt that I never ever wanted anyway, frankly all I ever want to do was teach and help children and promote judo.

The amazing members of JB Judo Saxmundham Judo Club undertook it’s 25 mile sponsored walk (turned out to be 28 miles 😆) challenge on Saturday 22nd: walking through some amazing countryside and along the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

Some amazing performances by our team; some walking just a few miles but several of the team completing not only the full 25 miles, but a few more doubling back to support a few stragglers along the way.

With the wonderful local DINO Walkers Club joining us for the challenge and a special message of encouragement from the Legend on the Bench Charity we were walking in

Another hot night in the dojo, suprisingly saw record attendance numbers, postcovid, at Felixstowe Judo Club with over 30 Judoka attending classes tonight.
It was pleasing to see four new Juniors, who attended our demo at the Suffolk Day at Kirton last Saturday come along for their FREE sessions tonight.
Our new larger mat area easily coped with increased numbers and with with a larger Coaching team in attendance most nights now we are able to ensure everyone is progressing across the club.
