Choosing the right platform for a judo club's online presence is crucial for its growth and community engagement. While Facebook is a popular and versatile social network, Judo Connect offers specific advantages tailored to the needs and aspirations of judo clubs. Here are three main reasons why Judo Connect is a better choice for a judo club compared to using Facebook as their primary social network:

After previously winning the qualifying event, yesterday afternoon our Year 4 football team represented East Cornwall at the ESFA County Finals against the 5 winning teams from Central and West Cornwall.
We played some excellent football, winning the opening 4 games and only lost out to a single goal in the final minutes of the very last game! 😭

Our young team have been outstanding throughout this competition and were so close to becoming Cornwall champions. Well done 👍👌⚽️

Today we had a visit from the fantastic RNLI here at school. 🌊 🏖️ 🛟

We are all so lucky here in beautiful Cornwall to be so close to the coast so it super important that we know how to keep safe while near the sea.
We all enjoyed the visit and have learned some important information.
Also there was a shark spotted wandering the corridors of Hillfort! 🦈 Ask your children if they spotted it too! 👀

Hi everyone
I hoped you all had a lovely Christmas and looking forward to 2022.
This year has been a long and stressful one for many reasons the main one being Covid, which has effected most of us I think.
Looking forward to 2022 the judo calendar is slowly filling up with the main event of the year being the Commonwealth games. Hopefully the Cornwall clubs will come together In supporting each other like they have done as it still could be a difficult year ahead.

Staying positive though I wish you all a Happy New Year and see you on the mat next year

Yesterday our Year 4 football team played in the English Schools Football Association (ESFA) East Cornwall qualifying event.
This was a good opportunity to play some different schools with the top team from each of the 2 groups progressing to the County Finals.
Team Hillfort were brilliant, winning all of our matches against St Minver, St Teath, Wadebridge and St Kew and therefore going through in style!
Great effort and teamwork again.

We are now looking forward to playing in the County Finals in May against the winning teams from Central and West Cornwall.

Well done! ⚽️ 🙌 ⚽️🙌

Last night our wonderful cross country team attended the presentation evening for East Cornwall Primary Schools XC in Liskeard Town Hall.
It was an absolutely packed hall and the children of Hillfort represented themselves impeccably receiving numerous comments about how smart they looked in their school uniform.

All the children who completed 3 or more races were presented with a well-deserved medal. 🥇

Our Year 3/4 boys team also came out as overall CHAMPIONS for the whole season from the 31 participating schools.
They were presented with a fantastic winners plate and a shield which will

First onto the tatami in the U12 Yellow Belt & Above section was Bertie, fighting in the U50kg category, he beat his two opponents by Ippon to take another Gold, to stay on top of the Club's 2023 medal table.
Next up was Felix, in the Senior U73kg category, who gave the the black belt & two other brown belts in his category a good run for their money, although ultimately ending up on the wrong side of the result. However, he finished off
