Chris started BJJ in 2015 and has competed many times over the years. He started coaching in 2018 and opened his own club East Antrim Martial Arts which is affiliated to Defiant Martial Arts.
During training at Defiant Martial Arts in Mallusk Chris met Jonathan and began his judo journey. I am of course talking about Dan Soule - horror author! Dan has sold 35k books and 1.4million Kindle page reads over 8 titles in the last 5 years. Harry complete his first Sprint triathlon 2021 which consisted of:
Swim 750 metre
Cycle 20km
Run 5km
Harrry completed 5 sprint triathlons in 2023 and his plan for 2024 is to take part in an Olympic Distance Triathlon and maybe 1/2 Iron man!

Laura has already achieved an A grade in her GCSE music, distinctions in grades 5, 7 and 8 music exams and is working on her diploma. She sings ar school events assemblies and masses and at weddings and funerals.

A fantastic day for Kookateki at Craigavon today. We had 7 adults & 2 juniors competing and the team returned with 3 golds 3 silvers and 3 bronze. Guess what happened today?
Not only did Tighearnan and Lindsay both win gold in their respective categories, they both got enough wins to get them their first Dan judo black belts, two very special people 🥋🥋 Both these players have only ever done judo at Kookateki, Tighearnan started judo way back in one of our primary school clubs and Lindsay is the very first female Kookateki black belt.
