Choosing the right platform for a judo club's online presence is crucial for its growth and community engagement. While Facebook is a popular and versatile social network, Judo Connect offers specific advantages tailored to the needs and aspirations of judo clubs. Here are three main reasons why Judo Connect is a better choice for a judo club compared to using Facebook as their primary social network:

Nikodem Kwiatkowski and Darcey Reynolds with their very proud Senseis - Paul Hamilton (3rd Dan Black Belt) and Pete Powell (5th Dan Black Belt).

Niko and Darcey are both champions and gold medal winners at the Hampshire Closed Championships 2024.

Both went on to represent Hampshire in the County Championship this past weekend (SUN12MAY) gaining a bronze medal for their squad.

An amazing achievement for Niko and Darcey - and an incredible proud feeling for AWE Judo and all their senseis who have coached them.

Long may their reign continue πŸ₯‹ ⭐️.

On Wednesday evening, Joshua S in Form VII received the wonderful news that he has been offered a two year contract with West Bromwich Albion Football Club, to remain in their academy. Unsure about entering the club competition in June?

Time is running out!

Did you know:

- competitions help children test the techniques they’ve learned in class

- competing gives children a goal to work towards, which improves their focus in class

- children who regularly take part in competitions progress faster

- a competitive environment teaches essential life lessons like how to cope with being nervous, doubting their ability and worrying about winning and losing.

- standing on the podium, receiving a medal, gives a huge sense of pride and achievement

Callum also stepped into the adult level of judo being only 16, he also should be extremely proud of his achievement in the competition by coming away with a silver medal.

As a coach these two young men are the reason why us coaches give our time every week, extremely proud to see them develop over the years and they still have

Another competition weekend for team bst as our students took on umac_uk in Milton Keynes

What a day we had as we had 10 competitors go out and show what they can do on the mats. Overall our achievements was 4 Gold 4 silvers and 1 bronze, others just missed out but for some it was there was there first event and some came across big challenges.

Well done to them all for putting in the work and to all the team for helping each other out the rounds in. For all the coaches to guide them and get them prep them for competition too.

We win and we learn and we come back strong!
