Although we had a quiet night we were fortunate to have visitors from Senshi Judo club and East Kilbride judo club join us. We enjoyed some quality newaza coaching from John McDonald and last but not least we were also delighted to see Marine first class Leodhais McDonald back on the mat.

This weekend we see "Oor Chris" back defending his British ID Judo level 1 Title.
He is too much of a gentleman to say but his résumé is truly spectacular.
Currently unbeaten in his own weight category -81kg for more than a decade whilst competing in Europe, Austrailia, America and the UK, ID World and European champion
Ukcc Level 2 Coach.
He embraces the very essence Judo by constantly striving to be the best version of himself on or off the mat.
He is a wonderful ambassador for Judo and a role model for many who aspire to follow in his footsteps.
He always takes the time to be there f

Another great night and we are delighted to see a full mat at the seniors, many thanks to our visitors who always help make it a fun night for one and all.
When they are all flagging a little how do you finish the night? A speed teams event of course, 10 minutes of full on and fully charged Shiai with a twist😂😂😂🥋❤️ brilliant effort by one and all.

We are delighted to celebrate Mollie gaining her Dan grade after a great deal of hard work and dedication. Mollie is such a fantastic ambassador for our club and women in Judo. There's no man, woman or obstacle big enough, that this young lady will not face head on with a smile and the determination to overcome. Well done Mollie we are all very proud of you😁🥋👍👏❤️
We could've got a group photo but that would've been no fun 😂

Great turnout at the juniors for the last night but one before the summer break. They were full of energy and up for fun busy session. Each and every one of them are a credit to their parents.
The seniors may have been a bit quieter tonight with the better weather being here, but it was a good session none the less. Everyone benefitted from having a visit from Senshi Judo clubs senior coach John McDonald who passed on his expertise to the players. 😁👍👏❤️🥋

We always enjoy demonstrating and teaching this Kata. It's like a forbidden fruit. We get to throw with Joint locks, strike with and without weapons and also learn how to say "stick em up" in Japanese and so much more. A sense of humour is a must to help you through the day.😁❤️🥋👍👏😁
