That’s right! Torakan is closed for the summer holidays BUT this evening we do have our AGM.

An absolutely fantastic 3 days of education and fun at #jerseyjudo🇯🇪🥋 this weekend.
With Peter Powell leading our usual Friday class with great instruction and a tiny bit of Randori to finish.
Saturday, Peter led our coaches in a revalidation event which enabled them to maintain their coaching certificates. We also had a visit from two coaches of #guernseyjudo Always good to see our fellow Islanders but need to see them more often!
For Sunday it was a bit more laid back for some but not for others, Peter put them through their Dan Grade theories with all those that participated, successfull

Free entry for spectators and free parking at the centre.

A successful day for #jerseyjudo🇯🇪🥋 at the #hampshireclosed
Both Carmen and Lucas won gold and earned their place in the squad for the #intercounties next month.
Ryan fought well and narrowly missed out on the semi finals by finishing 3rd in his pool at his first UK competition since he recently only took up the sport.
Our #judoka were ably coached Matside by Marie while Bill & Mike honed their refereeing skills.
As always, a massive thanks to the organisers, officials, parents, coaches, players and volunteers.

No Judo this Friday as a few of us are traveling to the British Minors & Masters this weekend.
We will restart on Friday 20th at the new time of 17.30. This is the advanced class, for those that are looking to compete.
This time will run to the end of the year and we may revise it come January as we want as many people to benefit as possible.

Torakan may be closed for half term but #jerseyjudo🇯🇪🥋 is still up and running at Fort Regent this evening. 18.30 for Juniors and 19.30 for the bigger kids.

Great weekend past at the Liverpool Open. #jerseyjudo🇯🇪🥋 won 2 Bronze medals and and very respectable 7th place.

Yesterday we had the privilege of Skye Knoester holding a training session with #jerseyjudo🇯🇪🥋 while she was visiting the Island.
