What a great night of Judo tonight.

We had a very special guest in 2 x Paralympain Dan Powell who taught us some of his great Judo techniques.

We also got to have a scrap with him.

He is so strong and good it was an absolute pleasure having him tonight. Thank you so much Dan for visiting us We all enjoyed it.

Congratulations to masha0509 and jack.cookjc_ for mixing it up at the 18th International Training Camp at Partizan Judo Club Kikinda, Serbia. As usual, the camp drew 400 of the top Seniors and Juniors, and Cadets, including World and European medallists, from Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia, Belgium, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine. The standard was high, as the Serbian professional clubs, with local and Japanese coaches, make up 4 of Europe’s top 16. While the learning was steep, credit goes to Maria and Jack, for their resilience as well as to their engagemen

First session today done at the club tough warmup of about 50 mins doing lots of uchikomi nagikomis and body exercises. Then 5 brutal randoris where each one was a battle . One guy got so mad that I kept smashing the grip off that he was kept punching me with the arm over and swearing at his friends. After I threw him twice he got so angry and didn’t shake my hand . The other randoris were tough aswell all of them were good f
