Remember no training tonight as we are on our summer break.
A really big well done to everyone who has committed to our summer programme - it was a bit different and we weren’t sure how it would work, but everyone’s committed really well to it and hopefully you’ve come away learning something new.
Have a good break - try and watch the judo on TV if you can! See you soon 🥋

Also a shout out to our sister clubs, Tatsfield Martial Arts and Coulsdon Martial Arts/Yoshin Ryu who also enjoyed student promotions to the elite level 🥋
When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.

This weekend was spent at the bishops stortford judo club. On Saturday Thomas Stacey and Harrison Bloye were at the U8 judo festival which was a great way for our Sho Kids to experience competition and learn the etiquette in a fun and age appropriate way. Thomas Stacey won three out of three fights and Harrison Bloye won two and drew one; a wonderful start for two very promising young judoka.
On Sunday we were back there for the BSJK Yellow, Orange and Green Belt Championships where Elise King competed and came away with silver which is a wonderful result and we are so proud of how committed
