Choosing the right platform for a judo club's online presence is crucial for its growth and community engagement. While Facebook is a popular and versatile social network, Judo Connect offers specific advantages tailored to the needs and aspirations of judo clubs. Here are three main reasons why Judo Connect is a better choice for a judo club compared to using Facebook as their primary social network:

A busy week or so of competitions and hard grafting was finished off nicely with lots of new coloured belts on the mat. Our grading weekend, and after a few extra grades given out, totaled 67 new U8, Mon and Kyu grades awarded across all our classes.
Lots of new beginners have started recently, so looking forward to bringing through the next generation of Wirral Judoka.
Keep up the great work everyone. 😊🥋💪

And did you also know that 28 of the flag bearers named so far (23% of all the nations flag bearers) will be judoka 😊 How fantastic is that for our amazing sport 😁😊🥋

Every Olympian was once a beginner, that’s why we run our beginners basics and fundamentals sessions. We want as many people as possible to experience judo for themselves. Only a small percentage of judokas will make the Olympics but everyone who becomes a judoka, becomes a better person.

Senior player of the night was Farid, only a few sessions in he’s showing clear potential. 🥋

Beaudon was one of our juniors of the night for a second week running, he’s come a long way in just 8 sessions 🥋

Judoka of the night was Nancy. Crisp technique every time, another Plane on the judo mats can only b

Our beginners, basics and fundamentals class had a big challenge this week as we were looking at Guruma techniques across all our sessions.

They did amazingly well with some tricky throws, so much so that we had to increase our stars of the week! Everyone could have been selected but on the night Hannah, Nancy, Beaudon and Reuben stood out a little more with Reuben getting the overall star.

You can join us from as little as £5 per session or take advantage of our beginner package £40 for 8 sessions and a brand new Gi 🥋

Starting in September we will extend our beginner class to Monday even

Congratulations to Husnah Tarab, who has achieved two remarkable milestones this year. Just five weeks before sitting her final Medicine exams, Husnah welcomed her daughter, Yara Selene, into the world. Despite the challenges of recovering from a caesarean section, she successfully completed her exams and graduated from ARU last week.

Her journey was made possible through the unwavering support of her partner, family, and peers at ARU’s School of Medicine. Husnah is now celebrating both her new role as a doctor and as a mother.

Sorry/ not sorry for the long post.

I am deeply humbled to have coached three amazing people at my first ever and theirs, European Judo Union Tournament, held in Swansea.

For each of them it meant overcoming certain challenges as they have mixed needs, such as Down syndrome, visual impairments, Autism, and ADHD.

Beanie and Isaac, are our seasoned competitors, travelled along with Georgina, who likes to compete but not as often. Each of them demonstrated extraordinary resilience and dedication.

At just 12 years old, Isaac is a classic example of how incredible achievements are possible
