We held our annual Child Nursing Student Conference earlier this week and were joined not only by our current student nurses and apprentices, who received awards for their outstanding work, but some inspirational and highly skilled nurses who shared their work experiences and journeys so far.

An ex-patient from Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital also came along to share their near-death experience when they were younger and the challenges they overcame, thanks to the teamwork at the hospital from the nurses and doctors who took care of them.
