Judo lovers know that one of the greatest lessons of the sport is already in its own name. The “Gentle Way” transcends sports practice and becomes a way of life.

UNESCO, the United Nations arm for education, science and culture, also highlights judo as a sport that enables healthy relationships with others, using the game and fighting as a dynamic integrator.

In addition, according to the UNESCO study, judo is the best initial training sport for children and young people from four to twenty-one years old as it promotes a comprehensive physical education.

Grading Information:

We will carry out an official grading on Saturday 15 February 2020 from 9am. Everyone grading must have a valid BJA licence and bring it with them,. All those grading will get an official confirmation from the British Judo Association in the form of a certificate and a stripe which can be put on the belt.

As per our "new usual" timetable, we will be training at 6pm in Lampton Park behind Lampton school.
Don't forget to bring your belt, water, hand gel and a roll-up mat (if you have one). For those of you who haven't come to our sessions yet.
One of the coaches will be waiting in front of LAMPTON SCHOOL gates (school where the dojo is) until 6pm to take you to the spot where we train in the park.😊

We can now unveil our provisional "Return To Play" Roadmap which details the basic steps and time frames which will help us return to the mat as soon as possible.

GOOD NEWS! BIG NEWS!

WE ARE GOING BACK TO THE DOJO!
We will be BACK training in LAMPTON SCHOOL on the 12th of April.
We will start with one hour per night (6-7pm) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, all u18 yrs old can train at the same time.
In order to plan, we need to know WHO will come, on WHAT day. Spaces are limited for the time being and it will be on a first come first served basis.
Can you please therefore message us with the following info Name + Night(s).
For example, if Bob wants to come on Monday and Friday, his parents will text:
Bob - Mond + Frid
See you on the mat.
