Last night saw the start of our summer timings for training.
Slightly longer sessions for both juniors & seniors.
Sensei Kyle took the junior session, along with the assistance of Stuart & Adam.
Sensei Jared taking the seniors.
Thanks to all you made the continued effort to attend training, even though most have begun the school holidays now.
We are opening for the same session timings next week (juniors: 6-7.15, seniors: 7.30-9), then the following 2 weeks (6th & 13th Aug) we’re closed.
We’re back on 24th.

Ok everyone, here’s your schedule for training sessions during the summer.
We’ve decided on weeks off that are when our friends at Sandbach JC are still training.
So you can still have a local training session, should you wish.
(Weeks that they are closed, we are still running, so this should work perfectly).

Great efforts on Tuesday.
We graded our sho grades and congratulations to all of you for making that jump up the ranks in your Judo.
Those who missed the sho grading (5 to 7 yrs olds), will be graded when they come back in.
Great team effort across the board. Remember, as of next week our summer sessions and timetable is running.

Due to the warm weather, and the football being on, our numbers were lower than usual, but our die hard Judoka were still here in full force.

We had a very special guest in 2 x Paralympain Dan Powell who taught us some of his great Judo techniques.
We also got to have a scrap with him.
He is so strong and good it was an absolute pleasure having him tonight. Thank you so much Dan for visiting us We all enjoyed it.

Busy competitive weekend for out club members and friends from Sandbach and Crewe.
SKK Judo club hosted a Juniors competition on Saturday and an adults competition today.
Yesterday Sebastian and Dexter Lau competed and did very well . Dexter in the u8s and Bronze for Sebastian who did really well. A MASSIVE thank you to Gareth Latham from Sanbach Sandbach Judo Club for coaching them in my absence. Special mention to Kai, Alie and Saffi who visit the club regularly who did really well!!
Today we had many compete and some for the first time in a long time or the first time ever.

Amazing turnout today!
Well done to our Judo kids 8 and under on their grades. I'm so impressed with the progress.
The jnr class saw our resident brown belts Stuart Adam Kev and Scott helping with grading and prep for next week!
Our Seniors was lead by Mega Robin Sadler who gave the class some classic insight to old school favourite tech! Everybody enjoyed the collaboration. Well done to Toni on achieving her Yellow belt tonight, well deserved.
We also got some new mats today all the eay from Pembrokeshire! 55 new Judo tatamis at a great price! Big thanks to Jon Noble from Emt courier's fo

Today in Venray in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 our very own Scott Bailey won Silver in the European Judo Union Getting together Adapative champs in then Visually impaired u73kg Senior men section.
This is a massive achievement and a great result especially being an international result.
Scott trains Judo and conditioning 5 times a week or more and puts his heart and soul into his training and has made us all proud.

What a night!
We had awesome fun sessions across the board! We have also replaced our mats with tatami's with our Jigsaws gone, which makes such a difference.
A massive thanks to Gareth Latham for support on storing our old mats helping the club out on a massive way and for teaching his favourite technique tonight.

As we drawing to a close, we are bringing our Senior class a little gift next week.
My friend Matthew Newton is coming go deliver a quality NE-WAZA (ground work) session.
He is a 4 stripe Brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at SBG Crewe who has such a great style and is a brilliant Coach having been involved in his sessions as well.
We have collaborated Judo for BJJ with throws suited for BJJ rules, which to use,avoid and capitalise on before and he will now bringing some special groundwork techniques for our Seniors.
This is one not to miss out on.
