An honour to present Davie Reilly with his 5th Dan last night.
Davie has been working with our pre cadet and cadet programme for the last 20 years.
Davie is head coach of Danderhall Judo Club and was coach to your very own Colin & Callum Woods.
I’m sure any player who has been coached by Davie will agree that his contribution to their own judo, and the sport of Judo as a whole, is immeasurable.

We said we’d give an update at the end of the month - but we’re going to leave that to the RSPB:

Our amazing Judoka kids are CRUSHING their current judo grading and will be moving on up to a shiny new belt!
🔥 From those first adorable wobbly throws to mastering those judo techniques, they've shown dedication and spirit that would make anyone proud!

The RSPB have just sent us a certificate to say thank you for all your brilliant fund-raising efforts to help our puffin population. In the end you raised £9,100, almost double our original target. Well done all!

🥋 What exactly are Rumbles?
Well, they’re uplifting, family-friendly judo festivals, where children can show their families and friends what they’ve learned in class.
We originally introduced them for children who are maybe newer to the sport and not quite at tournament or squad level. To give them the chance to experience competition in a more relaxed atmosphere and to be rewarded for their courage in stepping up.
👧🏻 Every child wins a medal – 🥇🥈🥉 - and gets a certificate. And there are additional awards made on the day – for example for best throw or best team.
