Thankyou to everyone that came along and supported us at the Worcester Show yesterday. It was an absolute scorcher, and we met and chatted to lots of local people, demonstrated some of our techniques and shared new skills with many.

In Memory of Our Friend Jonathan Goodwin 🥋💔
It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of one of our beloved friends and members. This is a difficult time for all of us, and we want to remind every member of our judo family that you are not alone.
Mental health is as important as physical health, and it’s okay to reach out if you need help. We are here to support one another, just as we do on the mat. If you are struggling, please talk to someone—whether it’s a coach, club welfare officer, club chair or teammate. There are also resources available to help you navigate these tough times.

Solid performances from our three competitors yesterday at the British Schools Championships in Sheffield. Bailey, Gabriela and Sara were representing both their schools and Worcester Judo Club and showed some excellent judo at this national level event.
Sara had a particularly tough category, holding her own but missed out on placing.
Bailey and Gabriela also showed their skill and competitive spirit, both placing in 7th.
Valuable experience gained at a high level by all three judoka, and a good day all round.
