At the Don Werner memorial competition at Brentwood Essex we had just William in action. Two wins saw him progress to the semi final and like the Kent International suffer a defeat that left him with yet another bronze medal. It is somewhat bizarre to say I was more pleased with his losing fight simply because of his mature fight management. It may sound crazy but he did everything right other than win the contest but that is not to take anything away from his conqueror who thoroughly deserved his win and eventual gold medal.
