A proud day for Pinewood at European Junior Cup in Birmingham, with some valuable lessons learned.

Charlotte stepped on to the mat with pose and confidence for her first international competition at junior level. Up against a world ranked Dutch player, Charlotte gave a good account of herself, losing to ouchi-gari.
Pulled through to repechage against a fellow England player, lost to a strong hold down. Great experience and on to the next one!

Unfortunately Jack was unable to compete today, due to stricter (and unclear) weight restrictions. Note to all players: In any EJU junior competition
