Yesterday morning, our PP2 children headed into the woods for a spot of exploratory learning!

The children are learning all about life-cycles, and were given the task of building a den to protect their chosen woodland animal. From foxes to owls, and badgers to hedgehogs, the children had free rein of the woods to find the most suitable home for their companion. They also had to discuss what their animals are referred to as babies, and their collective noun.

At Beachborough Prep, outdoor learning is thoroughly enjoyed by all children in Nursery - FVIII, and our vast grounds are certainly ma
