It is World Judo Day today - 'bring a friend'!
Well, I think we succeeded in celebrating that ethos today at our invitational competition at Hingham today. We met with some long standing friends, welcomed new friends, and forged links with other local clubs. We saw some absolutely fantastic effort, determination, and most importantly enjoyment. It was noticeable how happy the competitors were, win or lose.
I have no idea how our WJC players performed today - it's all been a bit of a blur for me today and my focus was on running a competent competition, rather than our players performance.
