It was a pleasure to be able to present Paul Dodds with his Judo black belt tonight 🥋✔️

Paul is a founding member of the club, along with his wife, Rachel, and children Neve and Callum. At 38, he made a return to the mat after 20+ years away, with the aim of obtaining his black belt. Two years later at the age of 40, Paul smashed a line up, beating players much heavier than him to earn his Dan grade. Not only is he a Judo player and parent, he is also a qualified coach and dedicated lots of his time to the development of players at the club.

Well done Paul, we’re all really proud of you.
