After their warmup, stretches and breakfalls the juniors watched a demonstration of a simple turnover into Kesa gatame before moving off with a partner to practice. There were a number of partner changes so everyone got the chance to try the technique on different sizes of opponent. They also used this time to ensure they were able to get into Kesa gatame quickly without losing control of their partner. Then they moved onto some Newaza randori before finishing their session with a couple of games of dodgeball.
