With grading coming we thought we would share some resources for our juniors. On Tuesdays, we will share a hold-down, and Fridays will be a throw!
Today's throw is Deashibarai (Advancing Footsweep in the BJA translation)
Koka Kids Junior Judo Magazine breaks the throw down as the following steps:
1. Break Balance. Make uke step forwards with one foot by pulling sharply on the sleeve
2. Use the sole of your foot to sweep uke’s foot out smoothly. Attack just before uke places his foot on the tatami.
