#judoka but what else do?
One of the members from Kookateki’s early days Shane, left Northern Ireland to study geology at Birmingham and then St Andrews universities. He then applied for a national environment research Council funded PhD at the University of Leeds investigating the formation of gold deposits in orogenic belts. Specifically trying to resolve if they have a magmatic origin or not, using the gold deposits around Loch Tay Scotland as a case study! Shane will be making his long awaited return to the club in April! We are all looking forward to seeing you again!
