Fantastic sessions last night with tots, juniors and senior mats all working really well, great to welcome new players to see some returning players and a lovely couple of visitors who fitted in so well.

The amazing members of JB Judo Saxmundham Judo Club undertook it’s 25 mile sponsored walk (turned out to be 28 miles 😆) challenge on Saturday 22nd: walking through some amazing countryside and along the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
Some amazing performances by our team; some walking just a few miles but several of the team completing not only the full 25 miles, but a few more doubling back to support a few stragglers along the way.
With the wonderful local DINO Walkers Club joining us for the challenge and a special message of encouragement from the Legend on the Bench Charity we were walking in

Wednesday was our last Judo Tots session. The children have loved having the opportunity of getting out of nursery and trying something new.
We gave Keith a card made by the Sunflower Children and we were presented with a certificate for completing the 5 week course.
Lisa joined us for our final session, bringing along her camera to capture lots of content... video coming soon!!

Just another short message to say a massive well done and thank you to all the parents and players who attended our first in house judo competition at our new home in the market hall this week!
All the children did fantastic and it was so lovely to see some of the youngest players getting to know some of the older children during the evening and all supporting each other during the course of the event.

Saxmundham Primary borrowed our bouncy castle for their summer fayre this year. The club are thrilled to hear it was a success and the children will soon be able to enjoy being outside using their new picnic benches and bandstand! 😊

Please dont forget children need to wear suitable clothing and footwear for sports activities, bring a water bottle, packed lunch, snack, sun hat and sun cream!

Had an absolutely fantastic day today at our first Judo summer holiday club! We hope all the children who took part today had an enjoyable day too. 😊

Thank you to all the staff/helpers who came to help out and make the day a success but mostly thank you to all the children for coming and really throwing themselves into all the activities throughout the day.
