Good day today, 2 bronzes and a gold from the boys, and this afternoon our 2 girls were up.
Amelia started well with a good solid ippon win, but was unlucky in her next 2 fights, a hard fought 3rd place finish and a bronze medal 🥉.
Pola, entering her first competition had a feisty bunch of girls to contend with and after 2 hard fought losses she slammed home her first competitive win with beauty of an ippon. Another 3rd place finish and a bronze medal 🥉.
Well done team Poole today. Eastleigh tomorrow! 💪🥋🥇🥈🥉

Another weekend and another comp! This time our Chloe was competing in the Northern Ireland Open. Details of her performance is yet to filter through to us but the end result was a bronze medal which is a great achievement. Many thanks to Danny Williams and the Camberley guys for their continued support for Chloe. As always we are proud of all our judoka in everything they do! Well done Chloe 💪🥋🥉

Hoodie’s will have woven badges which won’t be in stock for a couple of weeks but you can still preorder!!
They are on the same trading estate I work on so I am able to collect orders & bring to judo on Friday nights!!

Some good judo this morning, in only his second competition Oakley improved on his last performance considerably, 🥉.
Ben on his maiden outing at a comp had to battle nerves but found out what it was all about, 🥉
James absolutely smashed his group, 3 big ippons, 🥇
Now on to the girls this afternoon 💪

Silver medal to Amelia L today, 3 ippon wins and a loss by judges decision against a tough opponent.

And it’s a Gold medal for Amelia F, 1 particularly tough fight against a solid opponent but managed to edge it to get the win. A superb ippon throw to overcome her second challenger gave Amelia top spot.
