Hi everyone, hope you are all having a nice summer and are all well.
Just a quick update, we are still waiting for government and BJA guidance about when we can re-open, currently looking mid September.
It would be useful to know who will be coming back when we re-open so that we know what numbers to expect and ensure we have all required precautions in place.
Take care

Would anyone be interested in some online video call sessions via Ms Teams concentrating in the theory side of Judo.
Trying to gauge interest, if we get enough we will look at setting some session up. There would be no charge for this.
This would give the Judoka time to concentrate on learning referee calls, scoring system, judo etiquette, history and sportsmanship.

Great first session back last night. The uchi komi bands and grappling dummy worked a treat.
Don't forget we have certain covid procedures in place please make sure you read the letter posted previously. Alot of hard work has been done in preparing the risk assessment and putting these procedures in place so that we could re-open.
Don't forget you also need to bring your licenses with you to each session, this is your insurance while on the mat. If you are new and have never had a licence before the BJA are currently doing a 3month Introductory license for free. This will see you through u
