We have had a fabulous entry for our competitions on August 17th and 18th.
Just a few spaces maximum left for our split grade youth and senior event on the 17th. We have 20 youth players from novice to 1st kyu and 35 Senior Novice to Green belts, 10 1st Kyu Men and 5 1st Kyu ladies.

Last night we were incredibly proud and honoured to be able to present Livvy with her Dan grade.
These grades are only achieved with years of hard work, dedication and perseverance and it's fantastic to see our athletes achieve their goals.
Congratulations Livvy, you truely deserve this!

Lucy fought hard in her 1st fight against World no 9 Elise Rustage (Ned) a counter though and hold down took her out and her opponent lost the next fight so no repecharge this time.
Great effort though in stepping up to Juniors as a middle cadet and should be very proud of your performance! Well done Lucy!

Hi team, as some will already know one of our cadet boys William Radford was involved in a car accident on Monday afternoon. Sadly it was a fatal accident and I am so sorry to say that our fabulous Will passed away peacefully yesterday surrounded by his family.
Will was a superb young man kind, funny and he loved his judo. He was training hard and just getting into the next level of competing taking his 1st national level medal in Northern Ireland just a few weeks ago and taking silver at the Sussex trials in April. Will was a familiar face to all on our senior and cadet sessions, training 4

It's always such an honour to be able to present an athlete with their Dan grade and tonight we had double the honour as both Rhian Hooker and Joshua Browning were presented with their Dan grades.
Congratulations to you both, so very well deserved for all the hard work and dedication you have put into your judo over the years!
