The first of our club team tournaments went well today with Five teams fighting it out to be the club team champions. Big well done to team Craig taking the gold medal💪🏻🥋👏 Thank you to everyone that attended the judo and the atmosphere was incredible 👏👏

Granite city Grand prix this weekend at the Aberdeen sports village. The club had 32 fighters there looking to bring home some medals. After some hard fought fights during the day we ended up with 18 medals in total. For a few of our players this was there first time attending a bigger event and they all performed very well. Great work by all that attended💪🏻🥋

Great to see the club supporting this event in Inverness. 24 of our players a mixture of academy kids and our more experienced squad group, took to the mat to bring home an impressive haul of 17 medals in total. Well done team.👏💪🏻🥋
Also a big thank you to parents and coaches for taking the team and their support on the day 👏

🥋 European Championships Squad 🥋
We're proud to announce that Scottish judoka Stuart McWatt has been selected for the GB team for the upcoming 2023 European Championships in Montpellier, France, from 3rd – 5th November.
Stuart secured his spot in the -90kg category with back-to-back medals at the Prague European Open (gold) and Malaga European Cup (bronze).

This weekend the squad travelled to Largs to fight in the premier event of the year run by JudoScotland “Scottish Open” the competition seen many countries from throughout the world attend. The club had a total of 10 fighters taking to the mat, fighting for a medal from this prestigious event. The club can hold its head up high bring home three medals and a few solid placings in the competition from the squad that fought.
